About FCP Wines

First Class Products was founded by Tom Ellis, importing small producer champagne into the UK while studying Geography at Exeter University.

Following the huge success supplying many of the University Colleges in Oxford, the First Class Products van was no longer capable of keeping up with demand and so we startedworking out of Tom’s garage in Oxford to hold more stock.

Swiftly becoming an established brand in the Oxford wine market, our sole imported small producer Leroux-Mineau was launched into the national scene with its very own website and home delivery.

Following the trends in the UK wine market, it was clear that we needed to make space for an excellent Prosecco in our sparkling wine portfolio. It was here that our relationship began with small producer Drusian in the heart of the Valdobbiadene Hills, Northern Italy. We now stock their award-winning DOCG Prosecco amongst other wines.

Our first wine promotion event held at the Oxford Castle to promote our fantastic wine selection.

First Class Products emerged into the world of on-trade wine supply from our first warehouse in Oxfordshire.

The decision was made to move into our Barton Lane warehouse, a bigger, better distribution centre capable of supplying our every-growing customer base in Oxfordshire and beyond.

Rebranding to FCP Wines – With the focus on wine becoming ever more core to our business, we decided that our brand should reflect this. ‘FCP Wines’ was born.

Following huge success supplying wine to the Oxfordshire area we acquired ‘The Wine Man’ a trade wine supplier operating in Berkshire.

Further expansion sees the acquisition of another wine business near Bristol, and our distribution now covers much of the South of England.

With daily deliveries to London, Reading, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham. Significant investment is made to our route planning and stock management software. Our new Trade Portal has been launched, offering customers fast and convenient online ordering.
